Reflection of 2016-2017 school year

This school year has been hectic. I started out the beginning of my year at a charter school that I heard about through my cousins and other friends that I knew. The first week of school went fine, but then we got a call from the school. They told us that they were having to close down (for reasons I can't remember). The charter school ended up transferring almost all of their students to an online one. The online school went terribly. Their online school was overwhelmed with kids transferring and they weren't very organized. Questions about homework would take weeks to be answered, which resulted in me, and many other students becoming very behind. All together, the first semester of my freshman year was pretty bad. I had heard about Mojave River Academy and wanted to transfer as soon as I could, to get out of the madhouse of a school I was in. Around the beginning of the second semester, I transferred and it was immediately much better that the other schools I had attended that year. Here I was able to be more organized and there were real life teachers to answer any questions I had. was able to get more work done here than I did at the online school because I had help. Next year I definitely want to stay on top of things more than I did this past year, making sure I work hard and get all of my work done. My second semester at Mojave River went well and I'm excited to start again next year.
